 Purpose

(From the Statute)

  • It is not for profit
  • has as its unique and exclusive purpose: knowledge and deepening of the figure of the Blessed over time
  • the spread of The Existential and Spiritual Message of Saint Margaret of Metola
  • the spread of the cult of Blessed Margaret of Metola
  • the canonization of the Blessed and the proclamation as a universal patronessof the blind and disabled
  • the coordination of voluntary activities related to marginalization
  • the pursuit of goals of social solidarity

Religious activity

– Prayer Group:  on each 13th of the month at 4:15 pm: Church of S. Caterina in Corso, Sant’Angelo in Vado (PU)

– Feast of Saint Margaret: May 1st: S. Stefano in Metola, Mercatello (PU)

– Pilgrimage to the oratory of St. Margaret: Second Sunday of August, starting from the loc. Palaces and arrival at the Oratory of Saint Margaret (Mercatello – PU) with sacred Mass

– Pilgrimage to the tomb of the Blessed: First Sunday of May Città di Castello (PG) Church of San Domenico, starting from the Metauro Valley

Cultural activity

  • Talks and Conferences on the life and spirituality of the Saint, on the topic of her existential message with particular reference to the handicap, marginalization and gift of Life.
  • Collection of iconography, manuscripts and publications scattered throughout the world to create in Sant’Angelo in Vado an archive of testimonies, of the past and today, on the cult of the Saint.

Social activity

  • Care for the disabled, the sick, the elderly and the marginalized
  • Defense of Life
